The filter cartridge contains a special compound (KDF 55 - Copper/Zinc) to virtually eliminate Chlorine. NSF certified for Chlorine reduction. This filter cartridge also helps reduce and filter Iron Oxides, Hydrogen Sulfide, Lead and odors.
